It is known that the two dogs were married off by their owners, namely Valentina Chandra and Indira Ratnasari alias Nena Ghoib.
The wedding was held like a human wedding party using Javanese customs in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, North Jakarta.
Nena Ghoib, who is a member of the President’s Special Staff (Stafsus) team, said that this dog wedding cost Rp. 100 to Rp. 200 million.
The IDR 200 million fee is used for various wedding needs, such as eating, drinking, event venues, decorations, clothing, and entertainment.
However, all of these costs are claimed to get sponsorship assistance.
Based on the video uploaded on social media, the two Alaskan Malamute dogs appear to be wearing traditional Javanese clothing specially designed for dogs.
