BONSERNEWS.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) appointed former Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Rosan Roeslani as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (Wamen BUMN) at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (17/7/2023).
The inauguration of Rosan Roeslani as Deputy Minister of BUMN was held together with the inauguration of new officials in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM), namely Budi Arie Setiadi as Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo).
Then there is Pahala Mansury as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (Wamenlu), Paiman Raharjo as Deputy Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, Transmigration (Wamendes PDTT).

Then Nezar Patria as Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, and Saiful Rahmat Dasuki as Deputy Minister of Religion (Wamenag).
“Brother Rosan Perkasa Roeslani as Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (Wamen BUMN),” said the Deputy for Administrative Apparatus of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti.
Compiled from various sources regarding his profile, Rosan Roeslani started his career as an entrepreneur by establishing PT Republik Indonesia Funding (Finance Indonesia) with Sandiaga Uno and Hasbi Hafani in 1997.

He was active in organizations, starting from joining the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) to becoming an administrator for the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry or Kadin for the 2010-2015 period.
He was also elected as General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2015-2021 period.
Rosan Roeslani Roeslani is also known as the 21st Indonesian Ambassador to the United States (US).
Rosan Roeslani is known to have joined Jokowi’s volunteer ranks during the 2019 presidential election.
At that time, he served as Chair of the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin National Campaign Team (TKN).
