BONSERNEWS.com – The Crescent Star Party (PBB) has stated firmly that it supports General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, as the 2024 presidential candidate. His party said that the cawapres candidates would be handed over to Prabowo.
“We have just announced the name of a presidential candidate. Who will be the deputy vice president? We will fully hand it over to Prabowo. Who will he appoint as the vice presidential candidate,” said UN DPP Secretary General Afriansyah Noor, Monday 24 July 2023.
Afriansyah said he would continue to support Prabowo even though UN Secretary Yusril Ihza Mahendra would not be Prabowo’s running mate. However, he certainly hopes that Yusril Ihza Mahendra can become Prabowo’s running mate.

“Our hope, of course, as party cadres, will nominate Pak Yusril as vice president. But if earlier a journalist had also asked, ‘Mr.
“We will not hesitate. Because after all this is a unanimous decision and hopefully everything is fate, destiny from Allah. How can the UN and its cadres build Indonesia together with Mr. Prabowo Subianto. That is our hope,” he added.

Afriansyah Noor said he had spoken to President Jokowi regarding his party’s support for the Ketum Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election. Afriansyah said this to Jokowi with a smile.
“I have personally spoken to Pak Jokowi, that the PBB will support Pak Prabowo to become the presidential candidate from the Crescent Star Party,” said Afriansyah.
Afriansyah said that Jokowi answered with a smile when the UN supported Prabowo. According to him, that smile has a deep meaning.
“He answered with sweet smiles. So Pak Jokowi just smiled, that’s all. So that smile has a deep meaning. God willing, our support for Pak Prabowo will be approved by Pak Jokowi as a candidate for President of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said. ()
